EUROSPIRO disposable filters for spirometry

Protect your patient and your testing instruments with the LUMED EUROSPIRO disposable viral-bacterial filter. The viral-bacterial filter provides a high degree of protection for the patient as well as your testing equipment, while its low resistance allows for accurate testing results.

Independent laboratory tests have verified that this viral-bacterial filter is highly effective. It consistently filters out more than 99.999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses. At the same time, it easily surpasses published ATS recommendations for flow resistance in pulmonary function instrumentation, which suggest resistance should be below 1.5 cm H2O/L/sec at flow rates of 14 L/sec.

LUMED EUROSPIRO disposable viral-bacterial filters are available in two styles: the anatomical filter with an integrated elliptical mouthpiece and the standard filter with a round patient-side port.

The standard EUROSPIRO filters can be used with a specific cardboard mouthpiece, while the anatomical EUROSPIRO filters with integrated oval mouthpiece do not require other devices. They are available in diameters of 30 mm, 31 mm, 34 mm, 35 mm, 36 mm and 45 mm and can be used on spirometers such as Sensormedics, BTL, Thor, MIR, Contec, Cosmed, Customed, Fukuda Sangyo, Siebelmed, Viasys, Vitalograph, Jaeger, Micromedical, Medical Graphics (MGC Diagnostics) and Koko Legend.

All LUMED EUROSPIRO filters are individually wrapped in a polypropylene film bag to avoid contact contamination, they protect the patient and equipment from bacteria with a minimum resistance that does not affect the outcome of the tests.
