The ECG conductive spray is a liquid preparation designed for skin application prior to an electrocardiogram (ECG) procedure.
Packaged in a bottle with a nebulizer spray, it offers hygienic and degreasing properties. This spray does not oxidize and leaves no residue on electrodes. Its unique composition, combined with degreasing and sanitizing agents, enhances electrical conduction at the skin-electrode interface. This allows for the effective reuse of multi-use electrodes without frequent washing, thus improving their durability and providing better hygienic protection for each patient.
It is also suitable for use with disposable electrodes, provided the spray is allowed to dry before application to maintain adhesive properties.
The ECG gel spray can be utilized in any type of electrocardiogram performed with either Electrocardiographs or Multiparameter Monitors.
Main advantages
Hygiene
The bottle design prevents contact with the patient, thereby minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. The spray also possesses mild disinfectant properties, contributing to its bacteriostatic effectiveness.
Time-saving
Application of the electrodes with the spray takes approximately 30 seconds. After the examination, patients can safely dress as the spray does not stain and has a pleasant fragrance.
Versatility
Available in convenient 250 ml bottles or 5-liter canisters.
